Montana Bones and her expedition team have set up camp on a dangerous treasure island. Will the expedition team manage to avoid the traps and find the jewels without being cursed?

In the associative word game Landmarks , players set out together as an expedition team on a dangerous search for jewels. To make their way through the jungle, they rely on the help of Montana Bones, who gives them clues via walkie-talkie. At the beginning of each game, the expedition team starts with three word tiles, which they must continue to add to as the game progresses. A person impersonating Montana Bones labels a new word tile with an encrypted clue each round. It is then the team's task to figure out where the tile should be placed. If the team places a tile incorrectly, they could fall into a trap that costs them important word tiles or trigger a deadly curse. The mission is only won if the team manages to return to camp with at least one jewel before they run out of water.

Landmarks can be played cooperatively or in competitive team mode with two teams, and contains 150 starting cards in three different difficulty levels.
