The bag-building mechanism known from Orléans has been developed into a storytelling story in which the players go through different eras and face a wide variety of challenges.

Orléans Stories is an epochal work in the truest sense of the word, in which the players pursue their own strategy as well as acting together with their fellow players. Orléans Stories contains 2 stories: The First Kingdom and The King's Favor. In both stories, the players go through successive eras, the conditions and rules of which are different. However, while The First Kingdom leaves it up to the players to decide which strategy they use, where and for how long, in The King's Favor the players progress together and must complete certain tasks within the set time frame of each era in order not to be eliminated early.
