Description

It has been a long time since dark forces swarmed the land and destroyed everything that was once dear to people. The few survivors have found refuge in the last stronghold of humanity, deep underground. They have been able to subjugate cracks in the fabric of time from which dark forces have been pouring out for eons. They use powerful crystals to shape the dark energy and forge unreal relics and powerful spells. These people are the last defenders against the archenemies at this abyss of time: they are the rift magicians.

In each round of Aeon's End , the players and the archenemy make their turns in a random order. During their turn, the players have a variety of possible actions at their disposal to fight the archenemy and improve their decks. These are never shuffled, but simply turned over when the draw pile is used up. During the archenemy's turn, the fortress of final rest is attacked. Cards allow him to attack, gain new abilities and gain minions. The players only win if they defeat the archenemy before he can destroy the fortress.
