Cascadia [Game of the Year 2022]

Welcome to Cascadia ! Here, in the northwest of America, animals feel at home: buzzards circle in the air, bears appear in pairs, deer set off on their migration and foxes roam around. And of course the salmon are there too. On their river migrations they cross vast landscapes. 1-4 players aged 10 and over keep an eye on all the wild animals and add a new wilderness tile to their landscape on their turn. The different scoring cards dictate how the animals should be settled. Bonus points are awarded for the largest connected areas in each type of landscape. Thanks to the easy access, you can start playing right away and create a new home for many animals - with a bit of luck and the right tactics.
