Description

In the farthest corners of the earth, magic still lives, embodied by spirits of the land, air, and every other element. As the colonial territories of Europe's great powers expand further and further, they will inevitably lay claim to areas where the spirits still hold power - and once that happens, the land itself and its inhabitants will fight against the invaders.

In the complex and thematic co-op game Spirit Island, players take on the roles of spirits and must protect their island from colonization by invaders. Each spirit has different abilities at their disposal, but only by working hand in hand will they be able to defend their home and maintain their presence.

Spirit Island turns the recipe of well-known strategy games on its head: instead of exploring, expanding, exploiting and wiping out, the aim is to prevent the same from happening. Thanks to a large selection of different spirits, numerous scenarios and adjustable difficulty levels, this exceptional expert game offers almost inexhaustible replay value.
